THE CENTER:
The Portman Center for Policy Solutions' mission is to encourage civility, bipartisanship, and finding common ground to achieve policy solutions. They do this by hosting public panels and speaking events for various government officials, workshops about civility, and funding students interested in public policy, law, or other fields through an earned Fellowship or other stipend programs.
MY ROLE:
I was their Communications and Motion Graphics Design Intern during the Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 semesters. During my time, my role included:
-Taking and editing photos and videos of any public-facing events, workshops, or retreats
      -Updating the Portman Center's website
-Designing various formats of marketing graphics
-Managing the Portman Center's Instagram and LinkedIn and posting around 2-3 times a week
-Organizing all OneDrive files as a file hub for Center Staff
-Creating original scripts, storyboards, and motion graphic animations for their educational content
I was the sole leader of the media team, so I was constantly collaborating with non-designer staff to create all marketing graphics and videos.
